Prof. D. Prabakaran, presently, the Principal of PSV Polytechnic College, Krishnagiri has 21 years of academic and administrative experience in various reputed colleges. He born in February 1974, graduated in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1995 from Government College of Engineering, Salem. He entered the field of education by joining Nanjiah Lingammal Polytechnic College, Mettupalayam as Lecturer in 1997.

 

He completed his Master’s degree in Thermal engineering at Anna University, Trichirappalli. He joined Ranganathan Polytechnic College as principal on 9th of June 2011. He has written four books and 50 articles related to Electronics and Amateur radio in National and International magazines like EFY, ELEKTOR (UK), Monitoring Times (USA), Nuts Volts (USA) and Popular Communications (USA). He is a recipient of Amitbha bhattacharya award conferred by The Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkatta.  He contributed info-central column in Popular communication magazine published from USA as contributing editor during 2006 to 2012. He is an active member of various professional bodies like ISTE and IEI. His interest includes Thermal science, Renewal sources of Energy and Energy Engineering.
