P.S.V Polytechnic College is executed by St.Joan’s Educational Trust. The Founder of the Trust, Dr.P.Selvam, is an academician with rich experience in teaching and having achieved an unenviable reputation in this own profession, Dr.P.Selvem, a keen social activist and visionary, felt that he should contribute his might to the betterment of the society as a part of his social commitment. This he felt, could be achieved by promoting Educational Institutions that imp art high quality knowledge at an affordable cost so that the middle class, the less privileged and the underprivileged could get more benefits.
Globalization of Education and the Paradigm shift in teaching methodology have inspired the Trust to foster top-notch edification in multifarious spheres of learning. As a step towards materializing this dream, the Trust has founded “P.S.V. Polytechnic College” to provide quality education and training to the students in technical science to prepare them to come up in the highly competitive technological fields. At P.S.V. The climate of Krishnagiri is similar to that of Hosur and Bangalore, which is about 50 and 85 kms away respectively. Krishnagiri is well connected to various parts of India through several National Highways that include Krishnagiri-Ranipet NH 46, Pondicherry-Krishnagiri NH 66, Krishnagiri-Madanapalli NH 219 and Varanasi-Kanyakumari via Krishnagiri NH 7. Krishnagiri connects 3 different states i.e. Tamil Nadu, karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The National Highway from Hosur to Krishnagiri is expanded from four-lanes to six-lanes. The new bus stand on the outskirts of the town is well connected by government buses and private carriers to Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore and other major cities and towns in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Puducherry. The nearest railway junction is Jolarpet (45 km) and the nearest railway station is Rayakottai (30 km). The nearest commercial airport is Bangalore International Airport (91 km) and Salem Airport (90 km).
